Violent Robbery in San Cristóbal Leaves Elderly Couple Injured

Two retirees were victims of a violent assault in their home while performing cleaning tasks on the sidewalk. The affected individuals were a 79-year-old grandmother and her 86-year-old husband, whose identities have not yet been revealed.

The incident occurred when a group of five criminals forcibly entered the elderly couple's home, taking advantage of the fact that the front door was open during cleaning. After assaulting the victims, the robbers managed to access a safe where they found the keys stored inside a cabinet.

The criminals stole all the money that was in the safe, as well as a cell phone belonging to the retirees. After the attack, the emergency service SAME assisted the victims and transported them to Penna Hospital. There, both were diagnosed with cranial trauma without loss of consciousness, and they are not in life-threatening condition.

The investigation of this case is being conducted by Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 7, under the direction of Dr. Barbella, who has ordered the intervention of the Division of Robberies and Thefts to clarify the incident. It was determined that the criminals managed to steal a total of 17 thousand dollars and 800 thousand pesos during the violent assault that took place on Combate de los Pozos street at number 700, in the San Cristóbal neighborhood.
